We're inviting you to participate in the upcoming statewide meeting for the 2024 electoral work of the West Virginia AFL-CIO. As a leader and an activist, we would greatly appreciate your presence in this important event.
During the 2023 West Virginia AFL-CIO Legislative Conference in late January, we announced our plan to evaluate current legislators and develop a recruitment plan for candidates who support working families in targeted districts. Now that the regular session has ended, we must begin our work.
The first meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 2nd at 6:00 pm.
We urge you to prioritize this meeting and join us if possible. There is much work to be done in this arena, and your participation is vital.
We will provide more details as we get closer to the meeting date. Look for an email containing Zoom information.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to working with you to create positive change.
