The Company is trying to decrease pay, eliminate retirement, and increase health insurance premiums by 900% among many other concessionary demands.  The Company is making these demands despite no claim of financial hardship.

“It is time for the public to know how The Beverage Market is treating its employees.  In twenty years, this is the worst example of corporate greed I have ever seen,” said Luke Farley, Teamsters Local 175 Secretary-Treasurer.

On May 3rd, 2026, approximately 50 Teamster members who work at The Beverage Market unanimously rejected the Company’s concessionary proposals.  Since that time the members have continued to work on a day-to-day basis because they value their relationships with their customers.  However, the Company refuses to provide dates to meet for negotiations.

Local 175 recently filed unfair labor practice charges with the National Labor Relations Board alleging that the Company has and continues to engage in bad faith bargaining in its negations with the Union.

“The Company has shown nothing but contempt for its employees throughout this entire negotiation process,” said Steve Day, President, Teamsters Local 175.

The Beverage Market distributes Miller, Coors, Modelo, Red Bull, and several other products.
